adaption of these Chrome OS devices in the business sector. But if you thought that Chromebooks only offered middling performance because of the Celeron processors, then think again. Acer has become the first company to launch an Intel Core i3 solution. The Acer C720 is now official, and is the first of device of its kind to offer such a strong processor option. Other elements mostly stay the same, including an 11.6-inch screen and a battery that offers solid usage of up to 8.5 hours on a single charge. Two memory options are available — the 2GB RAM model retails for $350, while the one equipped with a solid 4GB RAM will set buyers back a few bucks more, at $380. Since these are powered by Core i3 processors, an Intel HD 4400 graphics chips powers the 1366 by 768 pixel resolution screen. The chip is dual-core and runs at 1.7GHz. 32GB of SSD space, along with the usual splattering of connectivity options make for a rather attractive package. Although, Google Chromebook Pixel came with a third generation Core i5 processor, it cost almost three times as much as this Acer C720. With the release of this model, things really are heating up.]]>
