Another Affordable Windows 8.1 Tablet Goes Official, The Wei Yan PH102

here, they have a real chance. Another super cheap tablet by a Chinese company that goes by the name of Wei Yan has just been made official. In fact, as this report notes, there are two such tablets — the PH102 and PH101T, both of which retail at highly affordable prices. The first one is actually an 8-inch slate with an IPS display that rocks a 1280 by 800 pixels resolution. Two configuration options are available, one with an Intel quad-core Z3735E processor with 2GB of RAM, 16GB storage and WiFi. And the other one is powered by an Intel quad-core Z3775D processor, again with 2GB of RAM, 64GB storage and 3G. Camera options remain the same on both variants, 2 megapixels back and 2 megapixels on front. But pricing is where things change. While the first model is available for just $112, the beefed up version comes bearing a price tag of $240 — which is still well below the average range that such devices sell for, so all good here. And if you have $288 lying around, you can treat yourself to a spacious 10-inch screen with full HD display of 1920 by 1080 pixels, an Intel quad-core Z3775D 64-bit processor paired with 2GB of RAM and a handy 64GB of storage. The Wei Yan PH101T also offers a 5 megapixel camera on the front, 2 megapixel on the back, along with wireless connectivity options of both 3G and WiFi.]]>
