It’s not all that often do you get an iconic piece of hardware. Something with a history, a legacy. But the upcoming Lenovo ThinkPad 25 is one such creation, details of which have just leaked.

This is being launched to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the machine.

The IBM creation has quite a history — the ThinkPad laptop line has been going strong since as far back as 1992. And while newer models have changed things around notably, they still remain popular among notebook buyers.

In fact, they actually crossed the remarkable milestone of 100 million units sold in 2015.

A feat virtually unheard of when it comes to laptops.

Anyway, to mark the occasion, Lenovo already confirmed that this retro model was coming soon, and it would be priced very reasonably.

And now, the device has leaked in all its classic glory, showing that while this creation shares many similarities to older generation models, it does change thing up a bit when it comes to aesthetics. The multicolored ThinkPad logo on the palm rest area, and the lavender colored Enter keys the highlights.

As long as the iconic TrackPoint center button has made the cut, right?

In terms of specifications, you are looking at a Core i7 processor, 1080p display, 16GB RAM, SSD storage, and a fingerprint reader. But these are all specifications that can change between now and release, which should not be all that far off now.

Bring it on!
