Today is new icons day! Although we had several glimpses of these new designs prior to today, but these shiny new icons are finally here for Insiders to feast their eyes on.
And now, Windows 10 build 19569 is also jumping in on the fun.
Normally, Microsoft normally releases new preview builds on Tuesdays or Wednesdays. But things were delayed dye to the President’s Day holiday in the United States. Still, here we are, a day later than usual, with another new build to download.
As Microsoft notes, Windows 10 Insider Preview build 19569 does not come with any notable new features, but there are some new icons for you take a or a spin.
These are the same ones that were spotted earlier today, so anyone in the Fast ring is getting them, even if they do not deploy build 19569.
Regardless, this is a major milestone for the company in terms of the design and UI of its operating platform. It announced these new Fluent Design icons a while ago, following the release of new icons for the Office suite.
In fact, even when the Office icons got a refresh, we got a glimpse of these new icons for apps like Groove, Music & TV, Mail & Calendar, and more.
Well, it’s now starting.
Starting to rain!
