Final Version Of Internet Explorer 10 For Windows 7 Could Arrive Tomorrow

The much anticipated release of Internet Explorer 10 for Windows 7 could be mere hours away. Redmond has already announced that it is planning to release several new updates on Tuesday, February 26th.

And one of them is expected to be the final version of the company’s flagship web browser for the number one operating system in the world — in terms of market share, at least.

Microsoft has set up a monthly release cycle to fixes for its software products, called Patch Tuesday, and this month’s Patch Tuesday has already come and gone. This new update, by the way, is aimed at Windows 7, Windows 8 and Windows RT.

The software giant has not yet provided specific details on what this new update will bring. It just confirmed that it is supposed to bring improved features along with performance enhancements.

A preview version of Internet Explorer for Windows 7 has been available for download for a while now, but as is the case with most preview versions it is riddled with bugs, and is in fact sluggish due to a UI lag that makes for a cumbrous experience.

Internet Explorer 10 is considered one of the major features of Windows 8, and now with it finally coming to Windows 7, it will be interesting to see how it is received.
