post explains that the problem is with the power regulator logic failure:
“Beginning in early September we started to receive an increased number of customer feedback regarding Microsoft Lumia 1020 and 925 device freezes. During the last two months we have been reaching out for more and more data and devices to systematically reproduce and narrow down the root cause. It turned out to be a power regulator logic failure where in combination with multiple reasons the device fails to power up the CPU and peripherals after idling into a deep sleep state.”The issue has got something to do with the Lumia Cyan update, and although there is a workaround available at the link above, not all Lumia 1020 owners have had success with it. However, it is not yet clear whether the issue will be resolved as part of the Denim update that is set to arrive on both handsets in the weeks to come. The rollout of the Lumina Denim update is expected to get underway in Q4 2014. But at least, the fix is now in the release candidate stage, meaning it could see daylight anytime now.]]>

i have lumia 520 and it doesnt work when temperature is lower then 5 degree (celsiouse
5 degrees is a bit low, don’t you think? Ideal operating temperatures for the Lumia 520 are around the 20 degrees mark (Celsius). Anything lower and you run the risk of moisture forming inside the handsets.
I cant see anything on the phone screen when I wake up and I put it under my pillow to warm it :D…and it’s usless when I’m outside.you think its normal?
Probably not. 😛
