Fujitisu Adds To Interesting New Windows 8 Devices– Including an AMD Tablet

Fujitsu Esprimo X913-T While the company’s new AMD tablet is the most intriguing part of Fujitsu’s Windows 8 strategy so far, their new all-in-one also looks interesting. The Esprimo X913-T is a Core i3 or i5 device, has up to 16GB of memory and a 1920 x 1080 display with 10-point multitouch. The storage is based on a traditional HDD with a size of 750GB, or a 320GB HDD. For those that want solid state, a somewhat paltry 128GB SSD is also on offer. No great graphics here with Intel HD powering it. Other specs include 4 USB 3, 2 USB 2, DVI, gigabit ethernet and optional Wi-Fi, webcam and microphones. Sounds pretty ordinary, so why am I focusing on it? The new all-in-one uses a sensor that reflects soundwaves to see if someone is in front of it. The display will stay active regardless of whether or not someone is touching the keyboard, swiping the screen- etc. As soon as you get up? It automatically locks itself. Want back in? With a webcam you can even get it unlocked quickly through facial recogntion. Fujitsu has always had some pretty unique offerings, even if they aren’t ever that popular outside of Japan. What do you think of this new all-in-one or their AMD tablet? [ source ]]]>
