Fujitsu Unveils New Enterprise Laptops, Including The Slimmest Ever Ultrabook

While the usual suspects like Dell, HP, Lenovo and friends have been rather quick to unveil their latest Windows 8.1 devices, other popular hardware makers are still unveiling their new solutions leading up to the launch of the new operating system this month.

Fujitsu is one such hardware maker — the company has just unveiled two new LifeBook laptops aimed squarely at enterprise users. In other words, ultra portability with superior performance is guaranteed.

First up is the LifeBook S904/H, with its 13.3-inch IGZO display featuring a slick resolution of 2560 by 1440 pixels! Professionals can put the impressive 21.1 hours battery life to great use, which can be further extended with a multi-bay slot that gets it up to a reported 28.1 hours.

Also, this particular laptop comes in at mere 1.32 kg, meaning it can be easily carried around.

Perhaps even more impressive is the LifeBook U904, dubbed as the slimmest ultrabook ever. It is also the first device to implement a palm-vein sensor.

A 14-inch IGZO screen offers a mouthwatering resolution of 3200 by 1800 pixels, but this ultimately takes a toll on its battery life — it comes in at a reported 11.8 hours.

These two premium laptops will be available for purchase in late October, and the estimated prices for each model are appropriately deluxe and eye watering. The S904/H starts at $3,117, while the U904 can be had at prices beginning at $3,167.
