We’re finally there! The final game in the Halo: The Master Chief Collection is coming to PCs next week, with developer 343 Industries announcing that the title is now slated to arrive on November 17.

This follows a bunch of ports in the collection like Halo 3: ODST and Halo 2: Anniversary that landed on the PC platform these past few months.

The Insider tests for the title and several of its new features ended only last week after an extension. And by the looks of things, the whole affair seems to have gone well enough for the studio to be confident about its plans to release the game so soon.

Much like the previous ports, Halo 4 on PC comes with a whole range of improvements over the original Xbox 360 version.

These include features like support for up to 4K resolution, uncapped frame rates, FOV sliders, native mouse and keyboard support, advanced graphics settings, and more. You also get the complete campaign, the Spartans co-op missions, alongside multiplayer with up to 25 maps included.

343 Industries was also testing PC and Xbox cross-play capabilities and region selection in its latest Insider sessions. Solid chance that these will be introduced to the Master Chief Collection across the two platforms with the launch of Halo 4.

The Collection will also be coming to Xbox Series X and S consoles with enhancements.

You can check it out on Steam or the Microsoft Store, where the game will become available as a standalone purchase for $9.99 on release next week.

Xbox Game Pass for PC subscribers will also gain access to it on day one.
