We were able to get our hands on video of the Surface 2 launch event today.
The speaker was Panos Panay and he spoke passionately about the capabilities of this new device.
The Surface Pro 2 comes in a variety of configurations, including 64GB storage and 4GB RAM, 128GB storage and 4GB RAM, and also 256GB of storage with 8GB of RAM and 512GB of storage with 8GB of RAM.
Take a look at the presentation and tell us in the comments – what do you think?
I think I want them both.
I agree with you, @mikegreenway:disqus. There’s never enough coverage, is there (at least for me).
@DCJason:disqus, isn’t it fair to say that at Paul Thurrott’s site a pop-up ad takes over within seconds there? So of course these site owners are in it for the money. I would be too if I had their sources. That’s not a bad thing as we all have mouths to feed. Mary Jo’s site doesn’t make as many waves as Paul’s or @Ammalgam:disqus’s site here does, but all have their purpose. You know you have to have a love for technology in the first place to even do something like this. I don’t always agree with everyone but everyone’s entitled to their own opinion, right? That’s what makes America great! Of course, I sure wish I could shut up Ted Cruz, but that’s another matter altogether. Hehehe!
Jason forgets what you said. You need to have a love for technology to do all this. This site has almost 7000 articles over just 3 years.
That is love.
Exactly, sir. I also enjoy the newer writers here, too. Pass it along!
Will do!
Thanks for the support.
I may change the look and feel of the site at some point again soon. Be glad to hear what you think…
Change is good after a period of time; keeps things from getting too stale. Looking forward to it! 🙂
Anybody know who is Mary Jo in the video? What company is she from?
You don’t know Mary Jo Foley and Paul Thurrott? They’re the best people who report on Microsoft. http://twit.tv/ww and http://allaboutmicrosoft.com and http://winsupersite.com
Thanks for the introduction! Wow…I’m going to read these websites and give reading eyeonwindows a break. Onuora’s harsh criticism of anything Microsoft he doesn’t like is turning me off this site.
Yeah, this is where most news sites get their information from anyways and repeat it with their own spin (generally Apple-biased).
Thank you again. Yes, for the past 24 hours, I have been reading THEIR website which report facts without a Apple-bias. I’m enjoying it A LOT. And don’t you think it is interesting that as you open up one of the pages on this website, that you see (as in this case) right in the middle of the page when you start reading is an ad for a Chrome book? The focus of this website is to make money for the owner of this website. Very little integrity.
Thanks for adding your comment here.
You could have used your time elsewhere but you chose to come back. we appreciate it.
🙂
not for long!!
Oh you’ll be back. 🙂
The others will bore you – you need to have an opinion.
