LG is introducing Windows 8 devices, too

LG V325 All-in-One Apparently they are introducing a 23-inch all-in-one called the V325, which features 10-point touch screen technology. I can’t believe I’m saying this but- YAWN. All-in-ones are getting flooded on to the market- which doesn’t surprise me – but this one is just another iMac-esque design. Sure, Apple doesn’t have touch, but I wan’t more from vendors. Windows 8 is supposed to bring out the most creative designs we’ve seen to date. While Sony’s 20-inch tablet/all-in-one is a good example of an innovative product this one isn’t. What is under the hood on their all-in-one? It doesn’t sound half-bad with a Core i5 processor and NVIDIA GeForce GT640M graphics card. Again, not that exciting but it isn’t a weakling either. LG H160 Hybrid Tablet We can also expect a H160 hybrid tablet. This 11.6-inch tablet turns to a notebook by sliding the screen. If this sounds familiar, it looks and works like the Sony Vaio Duo 11. While this isn’t nothing new, it is at least a little more creative then their all-in-one. The H160 features a 10-hour battery life, though not much else is revealed. What about the processing power? We have no clue. Whether this is an RT or Windows 8 device remains a mystery. I would probably take a guess and say it is Windows 8-powered, though. You’ll notice that there are three tablets in the picture above, but they only clarify on two of these products, the H160 and V325. When will we see the tablets? LG only seems interested in Korea for the moment. These tablets will launch in their home market on October 26th, the big Windows 8 launch day. It could eventually make its way over to other markets, but they have no immediate plans. Considering we have similar or better alternatives, I’m not all that saddened to hear that they aren’t coming to the United States. What do you think? Interested or not? [ source ]]]>
