Both these devices were unveiled at MWC 2015 in Barcelona, and Redmond had confirmed that while sales of these two smartphones will begin at some select markets in March, most other countries will get access to them in April.

In any case, the device is up for grabs over at Amazon Germany.

In preorder form, at least.

This means that those of you that want to get your hands on the first batch of Lumia 640 XL units can file in your orders. Amazon lists it at €219, which comes in at $235. However, the final price of this handset will vary by country and region.

The phablet features a 5.7-inch IPS LCD display running at a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. The screen is protected by Gorilla Glass 3 and it also supports Glance screen functionality.

Underneath you will find 1GB of RAM paired with a 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 8GB of internal storage, though the Lumia 640 XL also takes up microSD card slots with up to 128GB capacities. Battery life should be enough to last a day, thanks to the 3000 mAh unit.

Powered by Windows Phone 8.1, the Lumia 640 XL will be fully upgradable to Windows 10 when the new operating system sees daylight later this year.
