Microsoft And Real Madrid Foundation Pen New Deal

Not a month passes before we hear about Microsoft’s charitable efforts. Redmond is one of the most, if not the most, active technology companies that participate in helping communities around the globe.

This time Microsoft aims to bring young people closer to technology.

The software titan has just announced that it has signed a new partnership deal with the Real Madrid Foundation, one that will allow both organizations to work together on new projects for the youth in Latin America.

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez had this to say:

“The programs offered by the Real Madrid Foundation have become a reality thanks to the collaboration of a number of public administrations and the outstanding support of companies, such as Microsoft, that allow us to contribute to an integral development of children and youth.”

Five different programs are set to be launched in Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador and Mexico, and Microsoft will be making donations in cash as well as software.

Redmond’s donations will be aimed at sports, social and vocational activities that provide young people with easier access to technology and products that Microsoft develops.

The technology giant has already rolled out several such initiatives in various countries around the world, including United States, and it has in recent times focused especially on youth with the aim of assisting young people in these countries build up their careers in the field of technology.
