The veteran team behind the application, VMware and ZImbra, have now become Microsoft employees. This is what Microsoft said about the acquisition:

Easy to see why Redmond acquired it.
Now how long before Microsoft rebrands it into Outlook Mobile, or something similar in order to bring it in line with the company’s other email offerings. One may wager, not too long.]]>
