Microsoft Highlights Improvements In IE 11 On Windows Phone 8.1

improvements, as Microsoft details:

“Our team has been laser focused on delivering a massive upgrade to four key areas of your browsing experience: quick site access, fast and fluid browsing, safety and privacy, and accessibility.”
Oh, laser focused, I like! The blog post then goes over all these new changes, from the removal of the limit on the number of tabs a user is allowed to open in a single browsing session (previously, one could only open a maximum of 6 tabs at the same time) to the ability to sync browsing data across platforms. Many other improvements are also methodically detailed, including live pinned websites, richer website icons, and a smoother experience overall. Videos can also now be browsed directly from within Internet Explorer 11 on Windows Phone 8.1.]]>
