Microsoft Selling The Surface Pro $150 Below List Price On Cyber Monday

Redmond has offered its Surface tablets at some very special prices on Black Friday, and now the company has prepared another amazing deal for the Surface Pro.

As part of its Cyber Monday promotion, the 64GB and 128GB models of the Windows 8 powered slate can be purchased for $150 less than their original price tag. The store page has listed the former for $649, while the higher capacity variant now costs $749.

Do keep in mind that this is the original Surface Pro model, the first one released early this year.

Additionally, the discount is only available for the slate — Touch or Type covers are not included in this promotion, which is a bit of a letdown. Both these accessories go a long way in completing the experience and something like a $50 price cut on the covers would have been a good idea.

Anyway, as you may expect, this is a clear out sale.

And Microsoft recommends interested buyers to hurry up and place their orders. Quantities are rather limited and the company could run out of tablets anytime.

The Surface Pro runs Windows 8 Pro right out of the box, but the operating system can be easily upgrade to Windows 8.1 Pro. In terms of hardware, the slate comes with a very capable 3rd generation Intel Core i5 processor, backed up by Intel HD Graphics 4000 and 4GB of memory.

A 10.6-inch Clear Type display offers a full HD resolution of 1920 by 1080 pixels.
