Microsoft Smartwatch Coming In A Few Weeks

Forbes, via undisclosed sources, the technology titan is ready to unleash its first wearable product “within the next few weeks” in a bid to make the most of this growing business just before the busy holiday shopping season. Nothing’s confirmed so far, but if this pans out, it would be mean that Microsoft will beat Apple to the punch, with the former on track to launch its own smartwatch in early 2015. The important thing, though, is that Microsoft has not comment on this in any capacity. But we’ve had a lot of information on the company’s smartwatch project from third party sources, including the fact that the smartwatch might come in the form of a wristband, with the display placed inside the wrist, for that matter. And with full iPhone, Android and Windows Phone compatibility — which is sure to set the device apart from other solutions available in the market. A heart rate monitor is also included, by some estimates. How Microsoft plans to unveil this new gizmo remains a mystery, however. But we are sure to hear about a special event if there is one, closer to the release date. A few weeks, as they say.]]>
