report comes from a fairly reliable source, and reveals that the newer models that replace these two smartphones would be getting upgraded hardware to go with the OS update. Although it is impossible to accurately gauge what the technology giant is planning, keeping in mind the fact that the company rarely comments on future projects, this plan does make sense on some level, as bringing new flagships with the same old operating system might negatively impact sales. Harsh realities of the market. So we are, more or less, 10 months to maybe even more away from launch of true new flagship Windows Phone devices bearing the Lumia branding. That’s not to say that the company might not bring along an imaging flagship, like the Lumia 1030, sometimes early next year, and all signs point towards this possibility. Rumors for now, but we’ll see. What about you? Disappointed? Or is all this plain understandable?]]>
I don’t think that means what you think it means. “Microsoft To Only Launch New Flagship Phones In Late 2015” That means MS will not launch any other type of phones in late 2015, just Flagship phones.
You might be right, but what bothers me is the “late 2015” part. That indicates they are waiting for windows 10. Which is probably a good idea because carriers specifically Verizon is not very good with releasing updates. So phones released now would probably get stuck on win 8.
