Microsoft To Release Two 3D Touch Windows Phones This Year

codename for what is set to be the first device powered by this new 3D interface based on gestures and touch support. Watch this video, if you want to know more about this new technology: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DThJDAPxtxM But as this report claims, Redmond is working on two such 3D Touch phones, both powered by Windows Phone 8.1, and both on track to be available by the end of the year. First is, obviously, Nokia McLaren, which packs a 5.2-inch full HD (1080p) display, a 20-megapixel PureView camera along with 64GB of internal storage, though other models with lesser storage capacity will also be available for lower prices. And secondly is an unannounced 6-inch phablet that is expected to replace the Lumia 1520, no further details of which are available as of this writing. It could well be the refreshed Lumia 1525 that comes with an upgraded Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, but either way we should find out soon, provided these reports are true.]]>
