here on GFXBench, by the way. It is called “Qualcomm LIQUID”, and although there is no mention of the Snapdragon 805, it is listed with the Adreno 420 graphics processor, which is exclusively paired with the abovementioned processor. The big question here is the fact that what version of Windows is this device running, Windows Phone 8.1 or Windows RT. The benchmark show no information about the manufacturer, or what flavor of the operating system that this device is running. Which is to say that there is an equal chance this could be a phone, or it could be tablet. With BUILD 2014 kicking off tomorrow, we just might find out more about it, fingers crossed.]]>
It’ll be interesting to see whether this is a phone or a tablet. I’m leaning tablet. However, I don’t really understand the technical jargon, so who knows.
I’m with you on both things, Wayne! I think it may be a tablet too, but it’s nothing more than a hunch. Much like you, I don’t understand the numbers and technical terms, I just enjoy the end result! 🙂
I have no clue what anything in that table says. Lol. I am curious to see whether it’s about a phone or tablet though. I hope this is addressed at BUILD.
That pixel count is strange. Hmm. If I had to guess at this point, I think it’s the 8.1 phone. I think this will be discussed tomorrow at Build. We’ll see.
The snapdragon 805 is extremely impressive. I love the technology that enables. I have high hopes for this mystery.
2k device sounds like it’ll be a phone. I think a tablet would have 4k. However, it is all speculation at this point. I will see what is revealed tomorrow. I’m sure you guys will post about it!
“Qualcomm LIQUID,” huh? I kind of like that name. We will find out the details tomorrow, hopefully.
Whatever it is, I’m sure sure it will be good
