why don’t Microsoft put windows 8 to bed and move on instead of trying to patch it up all the time and just admit it was a failure, and lets move onto windows 9 and hope it is a big improvement because Microsoft now need something to get the edge back over apple

Well at least there’s still hope that we dont have to put up up with a with a windows 8 lookalike when windows 9 comes out
I see no need to rush out Windows 9. They’re improving a product that was never as bad as people were making it out to be in the first place. There are some small tweaks that could have gone a long way in Windows 8 in the first place. With update 1 they’re going even farther than that. It would make no sense to release Windows 9 when WP8.1 is just now being released and the merger of phone and RT has not begun
