Nokia Beats Apple, Samsung And HTC In Customer Satisfaction

Nokia’s return to form may well turn out to be the biggest comeback from near death story in technology in recent times. And one of the biggest factors in this success story is surely the high customer satisfaction level of Nokia smartphones.

The company is now the leading maker of Windows Phone devices, with its Lumia handsets account for almost 6 percent of all phones sold in the first quarter of the year.

And the outlook is looking even better in many markets around the world.

Now an online survey that tallied the satisfaction level of more than 142,000 users with various brands found that Nokia whizzed past many of its competitors on several major United States network carriers.

Six contestants — Apple, BlackBerry, HTC, Nokia, Motorola and Samsung — were pitted against each other on four of the largest carriers, AT&T, Verizon, Sprint and T-Mobile.

As the chart above shows Nokia handsets are not yet available on Sprint, but on other carriers Nokia eased itself to well over 80 percent satisfaction. Apple, which traditionally prided on the highest numbers, had to settle in for second with just under 80 percent.

Numbers show that on average Nokia customers are 21 percent more satisfied with their purchase than other customers — the less we see of buyer’s remorse, the better, eh?
