A mysterious little Nokia smartphone has been doing the rounds lately. The Nokia Lumia 1320, perhaps better known by its codename (Batman), is said to be one of the handsets the company plans to unveil later this month.
While we will probably have the full and official specifications sheet soon after the Nokia World event in Abu Dhabi on October 22, the folks over at The Verge have received some tips straight from the inside.
According to the report, this is an affordable, yet large screen smartphone.
And though we are yet to hear anything concrete about the display of the device, it should at least be comparable to the 4.7-inch screen that the Lumia 625 sports. But going by the recent trend, it is probably reasonable to expect something a slightly bigger.
Anyway, the upcoming handset is said to be highly affordable, and pack a 5 megapixel rear facing camera to go with the VGA front facing one. Gives you an idea about just how low cost it may be!
Then again, that raises the question why codename it Batman, eh?
It will come preloaded with the Nokia Camera app, which should afford it some improved imaging capabilities. According to reports the Finnish mobile phone maker is readying up to showcase at least six devices at its event later this month, not all of them, smartphones, though.
And an affordable handset like this should help it cover all segments of the market. Stay tuned for more on this as we head into the Nokia World 2013.
