Nokia Video Shows Off Security Features Of Windows Phone 8 Lumia Devices

If there is one thing Nokia has long been parading is the enterprise capabilities of its latest Windows Phone 8 lineup of Lumia smartphones. In its latest bid to reaffirm this, the company just released a new video explaining some of these features.

The video clip focuses on the security features that Lumia smartphones deliver for business users. Obviously, end users can take advantage of these as well.

It only lasts slightly over 3 minutes, but touches up on several security features from Internet Explorer 10 and its plug-ins to what is allowed on microSD cards, encrypted network traffic.

If you want to use one word to define this clip, it’s simplicity — everything from animation to the instructions is simple to understand. Take a look at the video here:

Up until now, Nokia has only launched three smartphones that are powered by Microsoft’s latest mobile platform — Lumia 920, Lumia 820 and the Lumia 620 — though a few more should be joining the family soon. Rumors have been growing of at least a couple of new models within the next few months.

The Finnish telecommunication giant actually had a torrid time last quarter meeting demand, and suffered from severe supply issues, at least for its flagship model, the Lumia 920. Since then, it has sorted it out and ramped up production.
