As I said before, iPad and Android tablets are just toys.
The iPad would need a many apps to do it’s job. Syncing with old servers and legacy systems. The Surface Pro 3 has all of that capability built in with touch apps also. You can use it as a tablet, laptop, and desktop workstation with the dock. A great solution.
I agree with you. I have one, and I basically use it as a toy
