It’s Wednesday, and that can only mean one thing, right? Yup, a new Insider build! Cue on target, Windows 10 build 19624 has been made available for download in the Fast ring.
Once again, it does not come with any new features or additions.
If anything, there isn’t even an “other updates” section that makes nots of app updates and other small enhancements that Insiders can explore and take for a test drive. No sir! This one is all about improvements, fixes, and known issues.
Not complaining, what with the May 2020 Update already sighted on the horizon.
Nevertheless, you can point your browsers to this link to get the idea of the general changes and improvements that are part of build 19624.
Nothing too fancy here. Just that Microsoft has temporarily turned off the new search box in the default apps Settings page as it works on improving performance and reliability. Also, the Optional Available Updates section that appears in Windows Update settings lets you copy the text in case you need it.
Things like that.
Fair amount of stuff got fixed, though. And there are a few known issues that you should be aware of too, if you download and deploy this preview build.
