Odd name for a very well designed application. Fit Brains Trainer is the work of the people behind Rosetta Stone Canada, and this educational app is a welcome addition to the Windows Store.

This free brain training app offers a mix of games and performance training tools.

As noted below, more than 360 games and workout sessions are available, each designed to improve and enhance memory, concentration, recognition and attention spans. All games are time based, requiring interaction with what is displayed onscreen.

A look at the official description:

“Rosetta Stone Fit Brains Trainer is an award-winning brain training & fitness app brought to you by Rosetta Stone, the world’s premier learning company. Fit Brains games are not only extremely fun to play, but they help improve your brain health as well. Train your brain with over 360 brain games & workout sessions designed to target Memory, Processing Speed, Concentration, Problem Solving, and Visual-Spatial skills. Download the Fit Brains app for FREE now!”

The selection of games is quite nice and well thought out. Some are as simple as pressing the mouse with a traffic light turns green, but there are plenty of memory games and even complex puzzles. There’s something for everyone here.

Although the app is a quick, breezy download, you do need a free account to get started. And some games are only available as premium with a pro account. For x86, x64 and ARM.
