One of the biggest names in mobile when it comes to water racing is Riptide. Games in this series have been triumphant on both smartphones and tablets, and now developer Vector Unit has brought the second installment to Windows 8.1.
Riptide GP is already available on the Windows Store and has charted good success until now.
And this second installment features a career mode where you have to compete in more races against computer opponents. It also brings the upgrade system that offers faster hydro jets and enhanced performance. Ghost racing against friends is also on the menu.
The simple enough official description:

Riptide GP2 is a mobile game through and through — it supports touchscreen controls to go with gamepads, keyboards and input via tilt and accelerometer. Sparky visuals and thrilling action ensure that the fun quotient remains high throughout.
The game retails for $2.99 but a free trial is currently not available. On the flipside, however, this first release offers support for all modern Microsoft platforms, from x86 to x64 and ARM.
