How to Launch It

  • Invoke the Start Screen by hitting Windows Key.
  • Search for the “Camera” app tile. Clicking it will launch the app.
OR
  • As an alternative, type “Camera” on the Start Screen. The app will come up in the search result list. Clicking it will launch the app.
The app doesn’t waste time in any greetings and immediately presents you with the live feed of your webcam. All it takes is a click (or tap) on the screen. The app will click a photo, or start video recording. It is still not a total barebones app, though. It provides you several options like
  • Change resolution of photos and videos
  • Change brightness and contrast of the camera
  • Select audio device for video recording
  • Timer facility. The photo or video will be taken after certain delay time.
  • Share the clicked photos or recorded videos directly from the app.

  • After you record the video where does it get saved? You would think it would be in the “Video” folder but no. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    • Never mind, I found it. It’s in the ‘Camera Roll’ folder under Pictures.
