Xbox LIVE File System for Xbox Kinect: designed and shipped a distributed storage system built on Windows Azure for customer data collection world-wide, resulting in improved acoustic models and skeletal tracking algorithms for Kinect and Windows 8 speech recognition.
It will be interesting to see just how far this rabbit hole will go with the integration of Windows 8 and the Kinect.
The possibilities are endless though and with the low price point of the Kinect, Microsoft have a good opportunity to change the game.

Huh? What is the actual status. All I keep seeing on the internet is that there are no native libraries for Windows 8 UI and Kinect (PC) integration. It is all done via Socket calls. Has that changed?
