  • edit the theme file at C:WindowsResourcesEase of Access Themesbasic.theme
  • Change the line that says “SetLogonBackground=0” to “SetLogonBackground=1”
  • Reboot your PC
  • You should now have a Windows 8 lockscreen wallpaper.
