Microsoft Reveals Surface Pro Launch Date And Pricing In Italy

With the football season just over in Italy, technology enthusiasts in the country can finally concentrate on more pressing matters. Pressing matters like the impending Surface Pro launch in the local market.

Italy is one of the several countries that is all set to get the Surface Pro tablet.

And now Microsoft has revealed the pricing and launch date of its flagship slate in the country. May 30 is the day the technology titan will debut the device in Italy. Five different retailers are said to be carrying the tablet, and this will ensure that it will be readily available in local stores.

Euronics, Expert, Media World, Saturn and Unieuro are the five retailers that will sell the Surface Pro.

Of course, the tablet can also be purchased online using the MicrosoftStore website.

As for pricing, the Italian prices for the Surface Pro start at €899 ($1150) for the 64 GB model, and go up to €999 ($1290) for the 128 GB variant.

The technology titan is also set to release a variety of accessories for the tablet in the local market, including the Wedge mice, adapters along with the popular Touch and Type Covers that are compatible with both the Surface RT and Surface Pro.

With the way all these new markets are about to debut the Surface Pro, and the continued expansion of the Surface RT, there is a fair chance that Microsoft will soon share some sales numbers with us in the coming months.
